Huya Craft Coffee is owned and operated by David and Shayna Hines and Kily LaGarde. All 3 of them are passionate about all things coffee and wanted to create a clean, welcoming space for students, parents, friends and coffee lovers alike. 

It all started from a mobile coffee shop!

In 2016 David and Shayna started “Brewed Over”, a utility trailer turned into a premium coffee bar! They often parked at a local specialty grocery store right next to Kily’s house. She was often late for work because of getting caught up talking to David. Little did they know years later it would turn into something special for both of their families.  

All three owners bring something special to the table.  

David and Shayna bring the education. Specific recipes and ratios of coffee and mixers are used in everything Huya crafts.  They also started making syrups at home for their mobile coffee truck and, of course, they had to carry that tradition to their brick and mortar. Kily is responsible for the design and aesthetic of the shop as well as merchandise and marketing. Together, they know people not only want goodness; they want 'pretty' as well.

Huya hopes to create a different culture in the coffee community. Our flavors compliment our coffees and aren’t packed with sugar (unless otherwise requested) and we want everyone to feel comfortable discovering something new!
